Making space for what’s coming, lots of millwork and fine finishes ahead!
#Framing •These guys are working their rear ends off… •Do you know what’s next?
Everyone likes to see the millwork and nice finishes, but there’s something no one gets to see and yes, it’s crucial. It’s the part that holds everything together. This is where it all starts, and that’s why it’s called the foundation.
Now that’s a custom handrail! You won’t find these unique newel posts or those sleek goose ends anywhere else.
A couple of weeks ago, we wrapped up a kind of last-minute renovation for one of our long-time, great clients’ new home This spot is definitely one of our favorite parts of the entire project. Looks good, doesn’t it? This was also our first time working with @intuitive.design_
“The most crucial ingredient for success in music is what happens in the practice room” Hope that we didn’t just build a practice room but crafted an environment for inspiration.

These custom-made shutters add a timeless fine detail to the front of this house, just in time for #MayDay
Spring deck vibes….. Can this weather make up its mind?
We are building some oak countertops for a basement renovation • Building wooden countertops means a lot of sanding to get those surfaces nice and smooth. • Thank goodness for power tools, right? • We could totally use a big drum sander and just pass the slabs through to make it all easier, but then we’d miss out on adding that personal touch that really brings the craftsmanship to life
Just a shower door away to complete this bathroom renovation. Can you spot what the guys forgot to do?
You’re seeing two carpenters framing a wall, but there’s a backstory with their ladders. One is using part of a scaffold as a ladder because an electrician borrowed his 4ft step ladder and hasn’t yet returned it, though he knows the electrician will. The other carpenter is on a 6ft ladder that he only just realized isn’t his—he exchanged ladders with a painter at a different job months ago which also seems like the painter exchanged it with a HVAC guy at some point. Swapping tools and ladders is like an unspoken rule in construction—they go on a journey; sometimes they return, and sometimes they start a new life somewhere else. At the end of the day as long as you have your tools the goal is always to get the job done
